Open your editor. Get to work.
Your isolated workspace comes with SSH, Git and development tools. Connect with your editor or let a coding agent work there.
A private developer cloud.
On compute you own.
Give coding agents an isolated development workspace on your server. Keep their files, tools and running jobs separate from your laptop.
Free to self-host. Open alpha for Linux · x86_64 & ARM64.
✓ SSH connection established
✓ Development tools prepared
✓ Project filesystem attached
✓ Workspace ready
Leave an agent working.Run it in a persistent session on your node.
Come back to your work. The same files, tools and project environment.
Keep your app running.Deploy it separately from development.
Develop, work with agents, and run your app from one project.
Readylab brings your workspace, tools and app deployments together on your server.
The workspace is for building. The deployment runs your app.
You and your agents build here.
Code, tools and persistent filesYour application runs here.
Runs independently of the workspace.Watch the app’s path. It keeps running.
Your isolated workspace comes with SSH, Git and development tools. Connect with your editor or let a coding agent work there.
Readylab brings your workspace, app deployments and services together. Use project controls to manage them while Readylab handles the infrastructure operations.
Choose your machine, connect to a workspace, and deploy from your project.
Use a supported Linux machine at your desk or a remote server you control.
Open it over SSH or VS Code Remote. Your files and development tools stay on the node.
Build from your project’s Git source and run the app independently of your workspace.
Let agents run commands, install tools and test code inside their own virtual machine. Your laptop’s files stay outside the workspace.
How agent isolation worksFree to self-host on Linux. Here’s what to know before trying it.
An x86_64 or ARM64 machine running an Ubuntu- or Debian-based Linux distribution, with KVM virtualization. See the hardware requirements in the docs.
No. Generic Git is the foundation, so your repository can live on any compatible Git host. You can also create a project without a source and start in an empty workspace.
A workspace is a persistent development machine you can access over SSH. You can run compatible agent CLIs on it, subject to their own credentials and requirements. Readylab also provides constrained MCP tools for project operations.
No. They run in separate, isolated environments configured for different jobs: a virtual development machine for you and your agents, and a lightweight runtime for the app. Stopping the workspace leaves the deployment running. Both need your server to stay on.
Yes. Install Readylab on your Linux computer and run workspaces and apps there, or self-host it remotely and connect from your computer. The machine running Readylab needs to stay on for your agents and apps to keep running.
Readylab is free to self-host. You cover your hardware, electricity and any external services.
